Fall Festival Details

Location: The Jacob’s Well Natural Area, Wimberley, Texas
 
Parking Park at the VFW Building on Jacob’s Well Road and jump on the Mermaid Shuttle
There is NO PARKING at the Jacob’s Well Natural Area
 
Tickets: $3 Kids 13 and under
$5 Adults
Free: Friends of the Well (membership available at the entrance) and for Bicycle Riders
Bicycle Riders and Friends of Jacob’s Well get in free
Chairs are welcome
 
Music: Hal Ketchum and Mike Bond and the Sun-Dried Texans
 
Food: For purchase from Troop 127 of the Sacred Springs Boy Scout District
Drink: For purchase from Friends of the Well
 
Ceremony: Join in the Blessing of the Water by Dr. Mario Garza, chair of the Indigenous Cultures Institute
in San Marcos, Enjoy a Rain Dance by Jacob’s Well Elementary, and hear from Will Conley from the Hays County Commissioner, The Nature Conservancy, The River Systems Institute, and David Baker from the Wimberley Valley Watershed Association.
 
Activities: Presented by area water conservation volunteers, including our own JWNA volunteers
 
Swimming: Swimming will be allowed, but the number of people allowed in the spring will be at the discretion of the Water Rescue Team

 

No Dogs, Coolers, or Smoking Allowed

Water Costumes are encouraged! Win prizes for the most creative costumes.
